BIOGRAPHY
Fred is running for the circuit
wide judicial seat encompassing Kane, Kendall, and DeKalb
counties. He has over 43 years of extensive legal experience
in both criminal and civil cases in State and Federal
courts. He has done more than 200 jury trials and over 1000
bench trials. In addition he has handled over 50 appeals in
State and Federal courts including Petitioning for
Certiorari in the United States Supreme Court.
Fred previously served as a Cook
County Assistant State’s Attorney, Kane County Head Public
Defender, and Associate Judge for the 16th Judicial Circuit.
While serving as Judge, he reduced the waiting time backlog
for trials in his courtroom from nine months to one day, and
had a 98% approval rating from bar association members.
Fred has his BA and JD from
University of Notre Dame, is married to his wife Maria, and
has three daughters and five grandchildren. He is also a
veteran of the Illinois National Guard, with a honorable
discharge after serving seven years.
Fred is committed to the
advancement of the legal community through extensive
volunteer work, presenting numerous legal seminars, and
running a positive campaign. His lifelong motto is and
